Technical Support Specialist. OTE £40k+. Bonus.

An exciting opportunity to join a well-established and market leading organisation – my client manufactures and supplies equipment that is used across many manufacturing environments including FMCG, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, construction products and more. This role will be split 90% office and 10% field. You will provide specialist technical support for a broad range of electronic printing equipment, which may be either standalone or networked to a client’s own data base system – training will be provided as required.
You will need to show: Detailed technical understanding of electronic circuitry and associated equipment; IT Knowledge e.g. PC networking, Operating Systems, databases, microprocessors and integration of software drive systems; an understanding of customer relationship management principles; be able to prioritise a workload and be flexible to customer needs; have experience of IT systems e.g. ERP or Service Management system. Oracle / ServiceMax preferred but not essential. A good communicator, previous experience in field service or a test environment could be an advantage. There is extra compensation for extended hours during the week and providing cover / being on call on the odd weekend.
