     Our award winning, market leading client is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong technical leadership skills, to lead the mechanical engineering development aspect of high-tech mixed technology products, from concept through to delivery. This is a dynamic and fast paced environment.

    The products embody mechanical housings and precision mechanisms, micro fluid handling systems, electronics and software in elegant packaging, manufactured in low to medium volume and sold worldwide. The mechanical technology includes casings, motors, gearboxes and mechanisms, pumps, valves and fluid flow delivery controls. Clearly we are looking for strong 3D CAD proficiency (ideally Pro-E but not essential); knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management tools and systems; FMEA / risk reduction skills.

     Ideal previous experience will be design engineering in the manufacturing of domestic / commercial / light industrial equipment (e.g. industrial, automotive, marine electronics etc.) We are looking for New Product Development experience, as well as existing product improvement skills. Responsibilities will also include the management and direction of cross functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain and electronics.
