Quality Engineer – Tunbridge Wells

Ideal Skills :

- 2 years' experience in Quality Control within precision engineering

- Good understanding of First Principle measurement techniques

- Very good knowledge of engineering drawings including tight tolerances and geometric tolerance (will be tested on this)

- CMM experience

- Skilled in the use of manufacturing inspection equipment like micrometres, Vernier's, various types of gauges (will be tested on this)

- Knowledge about ISO standards: ISO9001 and AS9100

- Identifying nonconformities to the drawings and/or specifications

- Performs First Off, Final Inspections and Goods Inwards Inspections

- Maintaining Internal Calibration

- Creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)

- Internal Auditor preferred

- Handling customer and supplier quality issues and establishing root causes
