Cell Leader (Rainham, RM13) £30-35k

Looking for a Cell Leader with strong man management experience from a high volume manufacturing background. This is company investing in new machines and personnel due to an extremely healthy order book (20 million parts per year). They have been established for 75 years.

Directors know everyone on the shop floor by first name - 170 employees in total.

They manufacture pressed precision components predominantly for the automotive industry. Someone potentially from a tier one or two, high volume automotive component manufacturer or perhaps a pharmaceutical manufacturing background (similar process of pressing of pills). If from automotive, experience of PPAP & APQP would be beneficial.

Experience of complex press processes would be ideal but given their unique processes, training and familiarisation with these machines will be offered, working alongside development and maintenance engineers. Or maybe someone from a CNC, high volume manufacturing environment.

This is a career role where the candidate will visit customers in the UK, Europe, USA and Far East.

Mechanical or Materials Engineering qualifications. Hours 8:30—17:00 Mon—Thurs and 8:30—14:30 Fri, 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays). Subsidised canteen, active social club and contribute up to 7% of salary into a pension scheme.
