Senior Aggregator Manager (Insurance)

This critical role will be responsible for initiating, building and managing successful relationships with the largest price comparison websites; such as ComparetheMarket or GoCompare. Working alongside key stakeholders across all the insurance brands and products, they will be responsible for driving conversion for aggregators, as well as improving lifetime value for customers.

90% of business comes through aggregator channels, so this is a fantastic opportunity to work for one the UK’s fastest growing insurers in the FTSE 250 and to lead in delivering profitable new business volumes and strategic channel developments.

Internal Liaison: Commercial, Pricing, Compliance, Underwriting, Insight, Risk , Legal, IT , Digital and marketing, Operations, CCI.

 Accountabilities:

To deliver against the business plan for aggregator related activity by managing key relationships with the price comparison sites and internal stakeholders.

Work with key stakeholders in IT, Guidewire and commercial to ensure the stability of the platform.

This will include monitoring our ability to return a quote for the right risks at the correct price for all partners at all times and ensuring platform functionality is maintained accordingly.

Work with Decision Science and Marketing performance to improve and develop the data we receive from the price comparison sites to enable us to enhance our proposition and pricing capabilities.

Work with the Digital new business team to optimise the aggregator journey post click through to maximise conversion.

Competitor activity monitoring.

Ensure that the Customer, Colleague, Company and Community are always considered in change.

Question and challenge peers and managers where these have not been considered.

Managing in conjunction with partners and internal business functions the invoicing and commission payment process in line with contractual obligations and company policies.

Ensure all activity is conducted in line with appropriate industry guidelines and contractual obligations.

Work with procurement to ensure all aggregator SRM activity is completed with a RAG status against each area and a plan to improve.

Ensure that contracts are in place with all partners for all activity and be responsible for negotiating the terms of those contracts in line with the needs of the business.

Responsible for the effective identification, management and reporting of risk.

Ensure there is appropriate debate, discussion and challenge of risks within your areas of responsibility. Enhance the risk management culture within your team for the effective.

Ensure completion of all training as mandated by the company and regulated by the FCA.

Managing any audit process in conjunction with partners and relevant business functions with responsibility for negotiated settlements up to £50K.

 Skills

Good stakeholder management and influencing skills with experience of managing upwards to Director level. Excellent written and verbal communications. Solid maths with logical thought process. Highly organised to enable management of multiple partner relationships. Delivery focussed.
