CMM Inspector – Tunbridge Wells -  £ Competitive

A manufacturer of precision components has a new vacancy for a CMM Inspector.

Working 39 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 8-5.  Friday 8-1.

You will be competent in the use of CMM equipment and able to read engineering drawings.

Working as part of the quality assurance team you will be tasked with verifying products and parts manufactured meet with customer requirements and regulations. The position entails ensuring regular and appropriate testing and inspection of the final product prior to release to customer.

Essential skills:

Competent in the use of CMM equipment , ideally Zeiss.
Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings
Appreciation of CNC machining principles
In process and final inspection experience
Trained to City and Guilds Level in engineering competencies
Lean manufacturing experience
Precision engineering experience
